Huge thanks to Blake Bickerstaff for making this video! Check him out for any video related needs you have. Killer work.
Opening day was amazing! Over 1500+ people showed up and it was a blast. Great food provided by John & Shirley’s Catering & The Crepe Co. The music was top notch, big thanks to Fonder Hearts, Colby Peters, The Wholetones & The Token Gamblers. We plan to have an awesome event like this every season, so 4 times a year lets toast to the times!

The light at the end of the tunnel is coming ever closer. After months of preparation, construction, cleaning, painting, drinking and what-not, there is a realistic opening date now. Although I cannot give any details yet (for legal and superstitious reasons) we will have a major press release soon.
Our good friend Jeremy Gonzalez has been spending day in and day out working on an amazing wall mural for the tasting room that will blow your mind. Check out his doodles on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/Frankie.SpecialK
We look forward to enjoying a beer with you. All in good “time”!
Cheers!

Come join us at “A Comic Shop” in Winter Park, FL! They will be throwing a batman themed burlesque show in their GeekEasy with tons of free craft beer. We will most likely bring at least 3 or 4 different pilot batch beers to try for free. There is just a cover charge at the door for the show. 9 bucks for general admission, 6 bucks for GeekEasy members. Friday, October 21st at 10pm. VIP Members will receive a commemorative 22oz bottle of a special batman themed beer made by yours truly. Cheers!

Yea we are too… patience grass’hop’pa. Even though we are still working on the equipment installation and legalities of becoming a brewery, that can’t stop us from telling you a little more about us and what kind of delicious and tantalizing beers we will offer soon.
Our schedule will allow about 8 different beers on tap. Most of them will be “one-off” special releases and two seasonal brews that will be available for 3 months at a time (equinox/solstice). Our main focus will be small batch, artisan brews that pair well with gourmet foods and deserts. Classic styles will still be a staple for sure but with every passionate brewer/artist comes the need to invent new flavors.
When you visit our tasting room you will learn more about our beer/art twist and the overall culture of fermentation. From the intensely thought out wall murals to the odd-ball beer styles to the unique, hand-picked music selection, you will surely be inspired by the whole experience that is The Hourglass Brewery. For us beer-geeks (you know who you are) you will appreciate the “no-bull” beer list. When you visit the “What’s on Tap?” page on our site you are directly connected to our live menu displayed in our tasting room. The only way you will ever find a beer listed on our site that is not available in the tasting room is if a beer runs out on your way to the brewery after checking the site. No worries my friend, we have plenty of back-up kegs, so that should never happen. Cheers!
Another great reason to visit The Hourglass Brewery is the ever changing flavors. If rotating taps isn’t enough we will also have many great restaurants nearby to pair great foods with your nectarious brew. Please feel free to bring your own food and eat at our place. Plenty of outdoor seating will allow you to sit back, taste and watch the world go by. Oh yea, and when you hear the train go by… beers are half price. Are you relaxed yet?
If you are pressed for time and wish to take our lovely products home there will be bombers (750ml) and growlers (1 gal) available at the brewery and local stores soon after. Please do us a favor and ask your favorite restaurants and local stores to put our product on their shelves and fridges. We already have many great restaurants/pubs awaiting our product… but rules are rules. Hang tight guys, it will only make it taste better after waiting a little while!
So, until we cheers in person… sláinte my friend!
